Zhuji Zhizhen Jewelry Co., Ltd. was established in 2005 with a passionate commitment to the ongoing cultivation and treatment of the finest freshwater pearls. The company trades as Wowpearl abroad and is actively engaged in the wholesale distribution of freshwater pearls around the world.
Zhuji, Zhejiang Province, is the pearl capital of China and has been home to Zhuji Zhizhen Jewelry Co., Ltd since its inception. Because approximately 70% of the world's freshwater pearls come from this one location, the city is the perfect base for a fast-growing company with global reach.

Decades of combined experience within our team has led to the sustainable cultivation of a wide variety of different oysters, namely: regular pearl oysters, Edison oysters, nucleated special shape pearl oysters, and baroque oysters. While the majority are opened for pearls to be used as raw materials, a significant minority are sold to domestic and foreign customers who want to experience opening pearl oysters for themselves.
We also have a thriving business in specialist pearl treatments where we work with tons of pearls every single year. The complex process of cleaning the pearls without damaging their delicate surface increases their value and gets them ready for sale on the international market.
These complementary services, and our unique geographic location, allow us to serve an ever-growing global network of clients quickly and efficiently.

Since our inception in 2005 we have achieved many notable milestones.

In 2005
Our team was established to sell freshwater pearls.
In 2008
We begin freshwater pearl cultivation, mainly focusing on regular pearl oysters.
In 2013
We expand to begin cultivating Edison pearls.
In 2015
Our pearl treatment business launches while we simultaneously expand into making pearl necklaces, offering loose pearls and other premium pieces.
In 2017
Cultivation of baroque pearls begins, along with the complex cultivation of nucleated special shaped pearls.
In 2018
Our foreign trade business launches and we quickly build a global network of clients and customers.
We now look towards the future and anticipate many more years of growth and success as we continue to build into new markets.
